The lineup

  • Signature: far infrared from Sunlighten's SoloCarbon heaters, one-button control. The entry line.
  • Amplify: full spectrum plus halogen heaters. Sunlighten calls it the hottest line and lists temperatures up to 170°F on its Amplify pages, "in ideal conditions."
  • mPulse: red, near, mid and far infrared delivered separately, with programs. The most expensive line.
  • Solo System: a portable, lie-down far infrared unit for one person.

Lowest listed configuration on each maker's store, checked Oct 27, 2026.

Most models showed a sale price against a higher regular price when I checked (for example, Signature II at $5,499 against $6,399). The Ice Barrel store lists the Amplify II at the same $5,999.

What is not published

The Sunlighten product pages I read do not list electrical requirements or exterior dimensions. Those decide whether a cabin fits your room and circuit, so ask Sunlighten for both before you order. Compare that with Sun Home, which lists 120V, 2,006 watts and a dedicated 20-amp circuit for its Solstice 2.

How it compares

At 2 people, the Signature II ($5,499) is cheaper than the Sun Home Solstice 2 ($6,199). The Amplify II ($5,999) is cheaper than the Clearlight Sanctuary 2 at a retailer ($8,957) for a full spectrum cabin. The best infrared sauna list puts them side by side.

If you want far infrared at the lowest price from a major brand, the Signature II is a reasonable buy; confirm the circuit first. I'd only move up to Amplify if you want more heat, and to mPulse if you specifically want its programs. Unsure about infrared? Read infrared vs traditional.
